Speciality:It is believed that when you have lost/misplaced something and cannot find it ,pray to this amman/durga and offer her Panaka/Jaggery.If prayed with sincere devotion you will get back .After ones prayers are answered you need to go to the temple and do the offerings.

    there are a number of Araikasu Ammankoils.Where is the ancient original Araikasu Amman koil exactly?
    It is mentioned it is in Pudukottai.But the distance mentioned is 180 kms.Kindly clarify this.
